Ana - Get It Done Girl - Fort Johnson Farms

As a small business owner of a local hemp farm, Ana has taken her passion for helping others to a whole new level. With a background in psychopharmacology, counseling and human services, she took a major leap by leaving a career she had always known in order to propel her farming business forward. Working alongside her significant other and best friend, Chris, she is learning from the ground up what it will take to make their business successful. This is a whole new industry of marketing, sales, finance, quality assurance, web design etc. in the e-commerce world - not to mention running a farm - that she has never done before. But she’s doing it, and she’s doing it because she has learned how beneficial and helpful hemp products can be. She wants others to experience these same benefits.

Having worked in a high-stress career while raising an amazing daughter, Emma, as a single mother, Ana learned a long time ago about the importance of self-care. Over the years she continued to find her self returning to a lifestyle of wellness through her diet, activity, and mindfulness. Nearly every day Ana carves out time for yoga or some form of meditation, reflection, or breath work. Given that she also grows hemp, she has found that pairing many of their products with both her practice and daily routine - she has been able to do a lot of internal and external healing.

When attending markets and events, she enjoys talking with others who are also navigating through their own healing journey. Whether it’s sleep issues, body aches, racing thoughts, hangovers, stress, nerve pain, or other ailments - she wants to hear about it! She wants to explore solutions and hopes some of their products can assist. This is often where her education and past professional experience is helpful.

Ana hopes to set their business apart from others by retailing a "farm-to-shelf hemp product” and by having a purpose in helping others as they navigate their own healing and health journeys.
